Shorts revamp! So basically I turned a pair of boring, old shorts that were two sizes too big, into these high waisted, ripped/frayed, lacey shorts! I'm really happy with how the sides came too :)Everything Kikka

UP Nail Art
Up: One of the greatest movies I have ever watched. Even in the first 5 minutes of silent monolouge, you can tell it's going to be a brilliant film. I loved it. My favourite scene of course, being when the house takes flight from an army of balloons.
Thats the magic of kids films; anythings possible.

The Wrong Boy by Suzi Zail
The Wrong Boy is one of those stories that stays with you long after the last page. With a cover of a large swartsica, it's easy to tell this book will be about Nazi Germany. But, this book is different. It's eerie, and entrancing. It shows the cruelness of the Nazi's, but it shows the broken hope of those who are forced to watch on. It shows the breaking will of the Jews in the camps, as they slowly but surely learn of there fate. It's the story of a girl with the will to survive, who's also amazing talented, and a Nazi Youth boy who did everything in his power to help keep the Jewish people alive.
This book is daunting. Theres no other word for it. Its the story of a girl who was incredibly lucky, but also incredibly unlucky. Its a story of human emotion, of scorn, hate, and love even in the harshest of circumstances. But this isn't a love story, so don't be tricked into believing it is by the title.
The epilogue and author's note describes perfectly how the Author may not have experienced these things, and she knows that she will never properly understand, but through the use of words and stories we can prevent this monstrosity from occurring again.

Giraffe Nails
These nails were ridiculously easy! I painted my nails pink, added a dollop of yellow and moulded it into a sort-of girraffe shape, outlined it and added details, and wolah! Giraffe nails!
Thoughts?
Oh and did you notice the sneaky harry potter logo? I made it using contact paper, and it adorns my macbook as well :)
